Guided by the idea of the professional approach to international choral music the Chamber choir Kanon was founded in Berlin in 2015. The choir consists of around 20 singers and it represents the true spirit of Berlin with its members originating from many different countries – Germany, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Greece and others.

The Choir is oriented on performing religious and secular compositions from rich Choral tradition of Slavic composers (Govedarica, Shchedrin and others) as well as many international classical masterpieces (Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and others). Further, one of the Choir’s goals is the popularization of modern choral composers to the wide audience.

Under enthusiastic leadership from Mrs. Masha Petrovic, the Chamber Choir Kanon is preparing for performances both on German and international stages.

The rehearsals are every Wednesday from 19h-21h at the following address:

In order to join the choir, an audition needs to be performed by conductor. Both professional and amateur singers are welcome. Please contact us in order to arrange for the audition.
